This afternoon I found a Cecropia Moth (Hyalophora cecropia) caterpillar sitting on some lowbush blueberry beneath a few gray birches. I thought I would share some photos:
Oh wow, I'm partial to caterpillars so this has made my day. Thank you for sharing it. I'm going to google this and see what kind of moth it turns into :)
My daughter just found one of these caterpillars today. Ran across your blog looking for info on it. Nice job! Have you seen the website www.wormspit.com ? Check it out, it shows documentary of ones lifecycle.
